About

The goat who gave us our name, Billy!

    Our Story

Our rescue was created in memory of our beloved goat Billy. In October of 2011 we opened our doors and hearts

to abused, neglected and abandoned farm animals. We are a completely volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit

     organization.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.”

― Anatole France

Meet the Founders

Marcie and Jerry Bunting

Jerry and Marcie started Billy’s New Hope Barn in memory of their pet goat, Billy. Their love for him and all animals led them to make the decision to start helping more farm animals. Farm animals are less likely to be shown love and respect. They are often thought of as food.

Jerry and Marcie live on the farm where they can keep a close eye on the animals.

They have been married for 43 years.
